IMU SOS Recycling Exhibition

Glad that I was able to join in at the last minute.
It was simple yet meaningful. The scale of this exhibition may not be too grand but everyone involved really enjoyed themselves and the level of enthusiasm is high.
Really hope that it will impact IMU student into giving up polystyrene.
Go green and go proactive
Save ourselves and our Mother Earth
Leave a better Earth for the next generation :)

I am good at hiding stuff

If I want to...
I hid many many dark secrets here and there for years...\
Without anyone noticing...

My latest accomplishment...
My Semester 4 results...
Which arrived on Monday (as I expected and which I successfully managed to hijack without any interference)...

Well...
My results is actually OKish...
Way better than I expected (for most of them...)
Not as great as last semester (which is going to be impossible to top but still OKish)...
Never expect that the I did quite well on the only subject that I thought I will flap horribly(Damn those SAQ which I really thought I scored 8/30)...

Anyway...
Will try to keep it as a secret as long as I think is suitable...
And no one will ever guess where I hid the result slip...
Muahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Don't be overconfident

Today paper was OKish...
Actually I did better than I would had expected...
But this is not the excuse to be overconfident...
Especially for the Acupuncture paper tomorrow and the day after tomorrow...
Although I did pretty well in both my Acupuncture paper last semester...
Must not be overconfident...
Because this two papers I need to score to get a better CGPA...

So far only 1 mistake...

Although the 8 am class today did made my day...

Starting tomorrow morning with an 8 am class...

After this week,one week Raya holiday...

Practicals outside Uni (a little bit nervous)...
But my target remain unchanged...
At least 3.5 to secure another Merit Award...

Although it was a relatively easy semester...
But it was so much better than I could ask for...
Never thought I could break my own record...
Definitely my best result in Uni for now...

Gonna work even harder next semester...

Another weird weird paper

Yesterday paper was way higher in standard...
The one today is messy at the least...
Everyone don't get the first page of MCQ...
Mistakes here and there...
Confusing questions...
Contradicting questions...
SAQ questions hardly had any focus...
Too general...
The questions are in one sentence and we need to write 10 points...
Hello...This is SAQ,not essay...

I think this is what happen when 4 different lecturers taught the same module...
Coordinating problems,I guess...

Anyway...
Did fine...
Just a little frustrating...
They could had done a better set of paper...
We mentioned the problems before during CAL quiz...
But nothing seems to change...

Hmm...

Last CAL quiz of Sem 3

Last CAL quiz of Sem 3 a.k.a EOS is around the corner.

5th CAL quiz and I did okayish in the former 4 (well,some is good and some is better than expected but one is quite disappointing.)...

Acupuncture 1B with 100++ acupoints to remember (from Heart,Small Intestine,Bladder and Kidney channel)

It is not as hard as it seems because most of the acupoints are either on the back or chest and abdomen area (which is a little easier to memorize) but still 100++ acupoints will take quite some time to digest...

Anyway,hope to score as high as possible and make my target to score A easier...EOS will be tough especially the OSCE part where I as the only boy must take the lecturer as my OSCE partner...He will easily spot any slight mistake I did so ya...better work harder and pinpoint the location perfectly.

Bladder channel with 67 acupoints!!!

Ok...Fine...I survived even worse situation

1st test was fine...I think I score quite well (touch wood)...

2nd test was erm... erm... erm...莫名其妙。It was like a mild combination of Dr Say and Dr Anthony version (This reference can only be understood by my batch mate in UTAR)...Very difficult to describe it but when I first look at the test paper I was like crap...Not blank but just crap...So many wonderful surprises here and there..The tips given were barely useful and again too many unexpected questions pop out...Yes,we heard most of them during the class but seriously you can't expect us to remember everything,especially when we are specifically told that it was come out during the test this time...

Fine...You know what...Just another crappy test...Not my first one and definitely won't be the last...Encounter many many similar incidents in UTAR which are mostly worse than the one today...Today was sort of a mild version...I survived even the worse situation so ya... just need to suck it up as usual lol...

Try harder the next time. Things that don't kill you maybe will not make you stronger but you will feel less pain the next time it happened again ^^

It had been a bittersweet week

Sweet: My birthday celebration was simple but loved it very much...


Bitter: Unstable (Most of the time NO) water supply for 5 days...Need to wake up early and rush home everyday after class just to take a bath (Water is usually available around 7 am and 8 pm)

Sweet: I FINALLY RECEIVED MY MERIT AWARD LETTER...A huge huge relieve...


Bitter: I lost my hand written version Materia Medica Notes 3 days before the CAL Quiz...

Sweet: I managed to summarize everything again in 2 days which involve a lot of hard work...


Bitter: I did badly during my CAL Quiz...Maybe the worst ever CAL Quiz for my major subjects...Next time need to start earlier and be more focus...

Sweet: Had many encouraging and nice birthday wishes from my friends which really make my day.


Bitter: Eat outside everyday and allow my vegetables at home to be more and more unfresh...

Sweet: Had a enjoyable date with myself after the exhausting week... Ate a fine dinner and spend half and hour in a book store


Bitter: Lost some precious AGAIN!!!Hope that it can still be found...

Sweet: The water supply had finally stabilized.No more rushing to bath...


Bitter: No any Tzu Ching activities this week..

Sweet: My lappie is back and run a lot faster...He really did need the makeover...


Sweet: I remembered about the Pudu Free Clinic.Going to help out in TCM department this Sunday ^^

Another busy busy week ahead!!!

Monday: Two 3 hour classes...Need to finalize my 1st draft of 细流程for the cooking competition.

Tuesday:Maybe will join the class trip...At night the 2nd meeting for the cooking competition.

Wednesday:Consider a relaxing day compared to the others,but there maybe jobs to be done after Tuesday's meeting...Oh ya...How can I forget,class till 6pm...

Thursday:Helping out  the Buddhist Society Blood Donation and Organ Pledging Drive.Then in the evening going to hear 林俊龙医生's talk in Petaling Jaya...

Friday:Helping out the Buddhist Society Blood Donation and Organ Pledging Drive too...And one of the highlight of the week:Karmen's farewell party...

Saturday:Another highlight of the week:The Vegetarian Cooking Competition!!!Hope many many will join ^^

Sunday:Free Clinic in Pudu...Yeah,I can finally help out in the TCM department this time!!!

Train will be leaving soon...

Will be leaving TM in 3++ hours...
Semester 3 starting and it will be another busy semester...and also very challenging...Acupuncture here I come!!!
但还是很放心不下家里的事情。Mum and dad will be very very tired,juggling between schoolwork and nursing grandma.I really wish I could help more...It is not a very pleasant feeling during this few weeks but I think I had been slowly learning to accept the facts...This is the age where this kind of things happen and no one can escape it.There is no turning back now for anyone of us so I must lump it!!!It will be a few more rough years ahead but I guess all I can do is to help out whenever I can...

Leaving TM...

Semester 3 will be starting in 5 days...
Will be leaving TM in 3 days...

Although I don't really enjoy my stay at home this time but I still feel super sad that I had to leave my beloved hometown again (Maybe not 100% sad but still 90%...)
A new semester mean a whole new sets of challenges waiting for me...
Hope to do better this upcoming semester and make my parents proud^^

Semester 2 Results

The results is finally out...Actually it had been for a few weeks now,but I only got the official verdict today via post...
For some subjects I did better than I expected but some didn't work out as planned...Got an A for one of my major (YEAH!!!) but only managed to get a B+ for another paper...Overall,it is still good but my target is a little but higher...A bit disappointing but I think I still can bear with it.
Next time still need to work harder...Planning to finish this degree with more dignity and pride...
Go me!!!

BTW,I managed to hijack my results this time!!!The postman came early morning when my parents were still in school^^

I am too old for this kind of anxiety...

It started last night...
I could not sleep well...I woke up a few times during my short 5 hours sleep...I don't remember having any weird dream but really could not focus on sleeping...
When I officially woke up,I had no appetite at all...I skip breakfast and eat nothing,not even junk food!!!Dad did cooked my favourite dishes but I had no intention of eating,not until I knew it...
It should be out at 4pm and I kept refreshing my IMU student mail like crazy since 3.50pm...I refreshed and refreshed for a gazillion times...All I get was the notification to pay my Semester 3 bill >.<...
I was so anxious...I was hungry,I felt my heart beating severely...




And finally at 5.03pm and God knows how many times I refreshed ,I received the freaking email I had been waiting for the past few days...

I passed!!!Wow,what a huge relief...

Next time...It will happen again...It always happened when the results is announced...

CM 1/11 Class Trip

Our 1st class trip out of KL and Selangor.We went to Malacca!!!
10 of us had a memorable and fun 2 days 1 night at the historical city...We did not went to those historical sites but we had fun eating some local delicacies and shopping...

The food in Malacca is not bad.The Nyonya dishes are good,so those the cendol durian.However the satay celup is a little disappointing... Maybe I don't really like the sauce which in my opinion is quite tasteless.

Nevertheless,we had fun chatting and enjoying after our stressful EOS 2.We played Truth or Dare and get to know each other more...So dark secrets are revealed...Hahaha...And the chatting in the car during the journey is going nowhere but still very enjoying...

Nice trip...Definitely release some of our stress and I did managed to buy a few items for myself.Hope all of us can go for another trip next semester where everyone in CM 1/11 will join in ^^
