Brutal murder in the name of science???

(UTAR-26th January)At least a dozen of chick embryo is brutally murdered and minced at the viro lab today. Suspects had been identified as all Year 3 Sem 2 Biomedical Science student. The time of the massacre is from 9am to 3pm and is under the surveillance of our beloved viro lecturer.

The chick embryo which cost around RM14 is imported from USA. It is the best sample for animal cell culturing because it is a specific pathogen free egg. The process of the murdering and mincing is so brutal and gross so it will not be written in this blog.If anyone had the interest to know more about the procedure (God bless their evil sinister soul),they can refer to the UTAR Biomedical Science Year 3 Sem 2 Lab Manual page 15 to 17.

Due to the brutal nature of the murder, most of the suspects will experience a temporary egg or chicken phobia. They may not able to look at or consume any egg for the next few hours or few days. They may also fell nausea and had the urge to vomit when they are within 1 meter radius from an egg. However the symptoms will be gone in a short while because everyone will find out that they did it in the name of science.Or wouldn’t they???

Is it ethical to do all of these in the name of science???No one knows but until a sure answer is available, the killing and mincing will still be a part of tradition for all the Biomedic student in UTAR…

Let’s pray for all those chick that sacrifice themselves for the sake of science. May they all rest in peace and will born into some higher life form in their next life…
